The Alpha-1 Foundation Genetic Counseling Program provides telephone-based free and confidential genetic counseling for individuals considering being tested for, or diagnosed with, Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency (Alpha-1). The program also provides information and resources for parents, family members and medical professionals. Kimberly Foil, an ABGC Certified Genetic Counselor since 2009, is based at the Medical University of South Carolina and has experience in clinical genetic counseling and program coordination.
